4 Social Media Posts that Explain What Privacy is
Great descriptions about what privacy is
One of the purposes of this newsletter is to gain and share knowledge about privacy and how to protect it. But I realized that I never really defined what is privacy. Perhaps that’s because privacy takes a different meaning for everyone and there is no one way to describe it. But I feel that these four social media posts that I found will best explain what privacy is that most can agree with.
1.) “Privacy is a right, not an ideal.” - Session | Link
2.) “Privacy isn’t about hiding. It’s about protecting.” - Mailfence | Link
3.) “Surveillance gives them control. Privacy gives you control.” - Naomi Brockwell | Link
4.) “I need privacy, not because my actions are questionable, but your judgement and intentions are” - unknown | Link
How would you explain privacy? Let me know in the comments.
Until Next Time,
