Has anyone ever used this service? The .xyz has me a bit skeptical.

Though the .xyz domain is odd, it is legit. It's a newer domain that was released in 2014.

Been trying to do this but there are SO many websites that make it impossible. :(

Yeah, it sucks. For now, I would just focus on the accounts you can delete. This still allows you to clean up your digital footprint, and it's one less account you have to worry about.

Yes, I've done this. And I've changed to a random e-mail address + added 2FA for accounts where that is possible.

What is 2FA?

2FA (also called multi-factor authentication), is a security measure that protects your accounts and personal data. It adds another layer of security to ensure that no unauthorized actor can get into your account. Even if they know your password, this would stop them from getting into your account. Most common ways to enable 2FA is to use an authenticator app (such as Ente Auth or 2FAS) or a security key (like Yubikey).

This is very helpful to me right now as I “clean house” of anything still lingering inactive. Thank you!
